The Bulldogs lost a heartbreaker to the Henderson Wolverines. The Bulldogs had a chance to take the lead 12-6 with 7 minutes to go in the game but dropped a wide open touchdown pass. Next play the Bulldogs throw an interception that gets returned to their own 35. The Bulldogs defense held but roughed the kicker on a failed field goal attempt. The Wolverines then took the ball in from the 15 for the go ahead score. The Bulldogs offense drove downfield scoring to tie up the game with a minute to go. On the ensuing 2 pt attempt they scored but it was nullified due to a mystery penalty of aiding the runner. They attempted the extra point which was blocked. On the kickoff the Wolves returned 68 yards to the Bulldogs 20 where they scored on a jump ball pass in the endzone with 30 seconds to go. The Bulldogs threw a pick 6 on the last play of the game to finish up the scoring. The Bulldogs played a great game and only have themselves to blame. Many blown oppurtunities in the red zone, dropped passes and ill advised penalties. The Bulldogs will look to bounce back this week when they host the Yuma Blitz Saturday night.

The Bulldogs shut out while dominating the Silver State Assassins 15-0 in a pre-season game on Saturday night, August 14th. The Bulldogs are ready and hungry with a new, enthusiastic improved team as they open up their regular season against the Henderson Wolverines on Saturday afternoon, August 21 at 3:30 PM.
