Whats up Bulldogs,
Wishing you all a safe Labor Day Weekend!!! Hope to see you all at the picnic tomorrow. I look forward to meeting every ones friends and family and making them feel welcome as part of our family the BULLDOGS. Hope everyone is heeling from all the nicks and bruises we have encountered within the last two weeks. We are hoping to be at full strength with the return of some of our key players. We also want to welcome a few of our newest players to the family. You all will meet them at the Cook out, make them feel welcome!!! Tuesday we must come with a attitude of learning and being sharp at everything and executing everything offensively. D lets get it together!!! Coach Manoli believes in all of you but when you cant do your assignments, then speculations start happening and then changes happen. We have a strong and aggressive D, we have to get that attitude back, especially in the NO FLY ZONE!!!! We have our own STEEL CURTAIN D-line hold it down, and we have the Bulldog Wall in the Linebackers. I am very confident in the next few weeks we will prevail and all the hard work will pay off. BULLDOGS BELIEVE IN YOURSELVES AND BELIEVE IN ONE ANOTHER!!!

Well the time is near, the next time you lay down and open your eyes, you will only have a few, to a couple of hours left before the new era of BULLDOG football commences. Everyone should come to the field mentally prepared for battle and physically ready for a war!!! As your coach, I am ready to go to battle with all of you. This game is a physical one, so lets all man up, and be on our game. We must eliminate all mental mistakes, and just dominate our opponent on both sides of the ball. We are not a team of individuals, we are a team of just one unit, on a mission to be the best in this league, and earn the respect from the others that step on the field ready the play the BULLDOGS!!!! Coming ready to play is preparing yourself tonight, yes tonight, by being in your playbooks studying like there was a final exam tomorrow!!! The Wolverines will come out tomorrow and try to embarrass you all!!! Well let me say something with the talent we have, I JUST DON'T SEE THAT HAPPENING!!!! ARE YOU READY? ARE YOU READY? GO BULLDOGS!!!! WE ARE JUST 24 Hrs away to Kickoff, and if your not pumped now, you better be tomorrow!!
I will post a Coaches Corner every Monday, Tuesday and Friday, with quotes and just my feeling of our team.

Welcome back BULLDOGS!!!! Welcome, to the old and new players to the team!!!! We are very excited to get this second season of ours going, heading in with great expectations. We have brought veterans to the team to help with the young. We will be a lot more aggressive on both sides of the ball this season. We will open the eyes to few and many, so watch out, here we come. I would like to say good bye to all that have chose a different path other than playing with the Bulldogs, good luck to you all. Hope to see you on the other side of the field. Bulldogs lets get in the swing of things now and get our heads ready to play this season. This can and will be a successful season. LETS GO BULLDOGS!!!

Here the time has come for us to fight for possibly our last time this season. I know its been a while since I shared any thoughts on the corner. Well I am back!!! June 12 is a big day for us, as we will be playing in our first Playoff game as the Bulldogs. This is one accomplishment that we all was hoping for, but with a better record to show for. To all you bulldog players, know one and I mean know one is giving us a dog day in hell of a chance at winning this game, so ask yourselves what is in it for us. Well if we win the Bucs will never forget this day that they lost their undefeated season to a 1-8 team in the playoffs. It also means there`s another week, and we can go out and upset someone else, this all lies in your hands as a team, not one person, not two people, but our whole damn team that fought with the BUCS that night, when we were actually giving them hell!!! That's the team I need out there, those 30 plus something players that are not afraid to mix it up with the best team in the league and fight til the end. Is there a chance we can win, everyone of you ask yourselves that? If you say no, then stay home and the rest of us will fight til the end with what we have. This season has been rough and hard to swallow, this is not an excuse, but first years teams are not suppose to be where we are at, and in the playoffs, fighting to see another day. You all have told me that you are not quitters, then be there Saturday at 4:30pm with a attitude, of damn we can do this, and only one thing is stopping you and its you the BULLDOGS. Get rid of the personal attitudes, the I attitudes and for once go out there and enjoy this game like a team that can win, because you can, all you have to do is play harder than the one in front of you. Give your team that much, and you will give yourselves a BIG WIN!!! Good Luck BULLDOGS go out there and fight hard, and hit hard!!!!

WAY TO GO BULLDOGS!! Hey you must say it feels good to get that win last night!! Hey I tip my hat off to all of you guys for last nights performance, and the great job of sticking with one another, and believing in yourselves last night. We never quit last night for one minute. Its like a old military saying " I will go to war with all of you". Offense you showed to all every one last night our time is here, and we are we developing into something to worry about, and we are growing together everyday. Defense you showed the fight in your bodies last night, when you didn't bend and you stop them inside the 20, twice. I loved it when I asked you guys in that huddle " do you believe you can stop them and you all replied YES SIR " and you did it!! You gave me the best feeling ever! Offense you pulled together when you all needed to. The same in the huddle I told you I love you all, now win and you all said Yes Sir!! that is BELIEVING in one thing, and that one thing was EACH OTHER!! We have a big game next, and I beg of all of you to commit to the week we go back to practice so we can all have a good game plan, for our game against DEMO. You all showed that we can do what ever we want, even when our backs are against the wall, and we are in a fight. We got stronger as times got tougher, don't ever lose that will in you to fight. We must FIGHT that next game it will be a battle!!

Let me be the first to apologize for falling behind on the Coaches Corner post. Last night was a good practice for some. Some of you opened our eyes and we saw good things. That's why I say always be ready to step you, never know what is going to happen to the person ahead of you. I am going to keep this short and sweet. If we don't come out and play like we did Saturday we wont win. We must keep the intensity on both sides of the field. We will be in the run and quad package mostly Saturday. If we win we are in the playoffs, but if we lose, we wont make the playoffs.
Let me make this a reminder to all, lets act like grown and respectable men this weekend and every weekend. Lets watch the language on the sidelines. Respect your team and their families. Leave everything on the field. We wont tolerate the BS!!!
NOW LETS GET THIS WIN!!! IT'S A MUST!!! Don't wait to engage, ENGAGE!!! HIT SOMEONE AND PUT THEM ON THEIR BUTTS!!

Well we have approached the time of the week that we are hoping we have what we need to get us a win. We, the ones that come to practice, are getting the reps of some sort, and doing their conditioning and all, but the rest have yet to follow these few individuals on the team. We have decided to not come to practice because the only reason I can think of is, your giving up on your team, your family (THE BULLDOGS!!) Do you not think me and coach don't get frustrated with people not showing up for practice and now we cant work on a game plan because we don't have the key individuals there at practice. So if you are hanging up the shoes and calling it a season please contact me and coach and let us know. There will be no hard feelings. To the rest of you BIG DAWGS on the team, I will repeat this," we are young, and our time is coming! Stick with the program, and you will see alot of new changes and key talented people coming next season I assure you. Keep playing hard that's all I ask of all of you". DEFENSE PLAY HARD HIT HARD!!!! SET THE TEMPO!!!

That game has come and gone. Now we must get back to business. Defense you are the best to me in this league. Keep bringing it every weekend. Offense we still have some work to do. Like me and coach said we need everyone at practice and if you can't make it just think about what also Coach Manoli said. If you are looking on all the sights, you see around the league everyone is recognizing our defense, and all reply that we are just young. Our day is coming, lets not quit and don't give up. Remember once all our chemistry is together we will be a force to deal with. I am still proud of my team, and always will!! Lets keep fighting. We are almost there.

We will need another good effort from all today at practice. We look good in our reps and we need that to continue today with all the reps. I don't know how you feel, but I believe we are getting closer and closer to accomplishing yet another goal to our season. Every game is like a playoff game for us. We don't want to be the last place team. This weekend will be a Defensive battle!!! Get'em D. Offense we had many opportunities last week to win. We gotta play hard and protect the ball. When contact is about to be made cover that ball and keep moving those feet. O-line you are improving week in and week out. Lets go for a goal of no sacks allowed this weekend. LETS GET'EM DOGS!!!

Hey yesterdays lost was a heart stopper, but we must admit to ourselves the pieces are coming together. Once again there was a small improvement. I said each week if we improve we will seal us a win. Don't think that we cant go out there and win one. We must come ready to prepare harder and harder each week and its going to all come to us. We all must know though that we cant win games if we cant protect the ball. Don't think for one that as a coach that I am not proud of you guys and Me and Coach really do see the improvement in all of you. I know for sure our day is coming. I know for sure we have a top stellar defense. Good job to you defense, and Coach Manoli, for the job well done yesterday in the game. You are going to keep us in every game I know this. Hey we are here the day before game day!!! That energy should be boiling inside and we all should be preparing mentally. This is the time now to get all of our gear ready, we cant afford to have anyone leave anything behind. Today I am asking for a big commitment from the whole offense, to be at practice to get mentally prepared, it is on us now to bring our game, the defense is ready, we must now get ready. LET GO OFFENSE its on us to put points on the board!!! We all must remember this is like a playoff game for us, so we must approach it like one. We have this day off to think about what we need to do this weekend. I cant say that I am happy right now with some of our dedication for practice. I don't know how we are going to come together when there are people missing practice with no excuse!! We had a very good performance last Saturday and lets just hope we can come with that same this Saturday. We cant and will not be the laughing stock of the league. Me and coach have gone as far as bringing some new players in and we don't know what is going on with anyone. So lets just hope we strap it up and hit,hit, hit on Saturday. We cant wait to be engage, we must engage.

Well its the hump day and that means we have two days to prepare. Thanks to all that has shown the dedication this week in practice!! To the others that feel they don't need practice you will see come game time what not coming to practice means. I know about the ones that have school, and work we know what you are bringing. To the ones that haven't been coming, we just brought in a good group of guys that the coaching staff believes that will help us get over this hump. Game day we will be in Arizona please drink alot of water and eat banana's, it will be hot. We must improve in this game better than the last, and this could be our first victory!!! We must go to Arizona with a purpose, to hit, hit, hit!!! Don't wait to be engaged. we engage, and play to the whistle.

Hey its here Football game day!!! Lets get pumped and lets go out and show some intensity today!! Remember our saying is "don't be engaged, you engage, and don't stop til the whistle is blown and hit somebody"!! Any given weekend a upset is brewing, and in your minds and bodies do you think we can be the ones to go out and upset someone? We know we are in shape, and we have been preparing. Lets go out and execute on D and O. Remember as long as we improve on our down falls from our last game, then this week will be a big improvement. We have come again to the day before game time. We will have to really prepare tonight at practice for all area's of the game. I believe now that all the jitters of not hitting is gone in a few or I mean alot of us, and now we are ready. I believe that my line and linebackers are going to bring a different mentality to the game. We all must focus on one thing and that is execution. We must execute all assignments and not get out of place. I am hoping all is ready for tomorrows game. We have missed a few practices, but we can still come out and upset a team . Ask ourselves what do we want? To be embarrassed for the second straight game? We must play to the whistle and hit, hit, hit. Let people know you are there. Class must be displayed on the side lines and on the field at all times, you don't know who is watching. Let Go Out and Play Hard and Hit Hard!!!!

Hey I am back! The time is approaching when its time to strap up again, and hit the field in the prime time lights. We play the Cobra's Saturday, and believe me they are not coming to lay down, and give us a win. Alot of us have came and prepared everyday, and some haven't. Come game day we will see the ones out there that has prepared. I know we have some nicks and bruises but come game day, and that adrenaline starts to pump, you wont feel it till after the game. We have lost some players and added some, I believe we are really headed in the right direction with what we want from the team. The guys that haven't been there for a while, and plan to come and play, jump on the shirt tale and follow the path of our leaders we do have, and come prepared to play hard. All us lets reach one of our goals this weekend. WE BELIEVE!!

So we must get to work and prepare for a good caliber team.

Hey we took one bad yesterday, and so be it. We played a good team. We showed some positive things, and a lot of negative, we will just have to go to practice ready for change and that's it. I would like to thank the Blitz for showing us one thing and not all the players and coaches fall under this, they showed us that they had no class!! For the head coach of a good offensive and defensive team not to have enough class to come and shake hands with the opposing coaches, shows alot of what is also being taught to a few of there players ie.... #78, who chose to turn his back and walk away. Shows that I teach my guys class, "no matter how much we win or lose by, show class".

I know you got to feel it now in your bodies, that its right around the corner, Game day!!!! If you didn't know we are now the bull puppies, in the eyes of the BLITZ. That's what we were called. Its all good, we both have one thing in common and that is to win the game. Like someone said we wont trash talk on the field, we will just bring it. One thing teams don't know, and that is we have been through alot already, before the seasons has even started. Our dedication to each other is what going to pull us through on Saturday, our everyday decision to come to practice and give those 3 hrs is what going to pull us through. We will never go out there and under estimate anyone, because we all know, when you under estimate your opponent then things usually don't end up the way you want it. The first year team is all ways under estimated, so I believe that's where we have the upper hand. We must stay focus the whole game!!!!

The sun has set for another day is gone, and all that means is one less day to GAME TIME!!! Dogs coach is hyped, more than you believe. Me and Coach are both proud of how you all have stuck around and show us your faith and your committment to the BULLDOGS!! Nobody says Saturday will be a cake walk. No the Blitz brings experience, but experience can be knocked on their asses too, best believe that! We will come out pumped, we will set the tempo, we will dominate both sides of the ball because know will lie down and just quit, and everyone will fight and give their best. Remember the old saying the game is never over til the buzzer. There are four quarters in football, so to be sure to win the game we must win each quarter, and go out and play each down like it is the last. Know one likes anyone to mess with their family, well I got news for you, the Blitz is coming to f@*% with your family. So what are you going to do about it? You think when the Bulldogs smash them in the mouth, and stomp all over them saturday, just think about the 5 hr trip back to Yuma for them, and all they are thinking is, DAMN WE BEEN BIT BY THE DAWGS!!!!

Today I come to you and ask you all are you true to yourself? Are we all really ready to go out and dominate a game saturday, or will we look like a team that was not prepared, ask yourself this question. If there is any doubt in your mind as a team we can not go out and win this game, that says one you and we must better prepare ourselves!!! If one of us do not go out there mentally and physically ready, it will make our task a whole lot harder. That starts with practice this week. The only reason you should miss practice this week is that it conflicts with your work schedule. Sickness is not an excuse this week, you can come stand on the sidelines and still see whats going on. If its a ride use your contact info and someone from the team I am sure will help you ie.... coach or myself. Remember the word TEAM we are a part of this, dedication and commitment is also apart of that word. These last three practices are the most important, lets all get there NO EXCUSES!!!

Here we are at the end of hump day, and all that means is that we are one week away, until we are under the lights living the dream!!!! Alot of you are on edge because we haven`t hit yet, thats ok, the time is near, just remember technique when you hit. Every practice I feel a bond, that comes from this team. We must maintain that bond during game time. You will hear the other team arguing amongst each other because we are going to be in the back field all over their quarterback!! That arguing will show they dont believe in each other the way the Bulldogs believe in each other!!! We need these last 3 practices to focus on what we need to do and execute!!! Start now and take care of your injuries, nicks and bruises. We must set the TEMPO and must put the Cobras on their asses for 4 quarters!! O-Line you gotta make holes and hold the blocks long enough for us to pass, PROTECT YOUR QUARTERBACK!!!!! WR you gotta run crisp routes, know your plays, and CATCH THE DAMN BALL!!!! RB's you must run hard, dont wait for contact, you make the initial contact!!! and CATCH THE DAMN BALL!!! and make your blocks.
DEFENSE YOU WILL AND I MEAN WILL SET THE TEMPO!!!!
