The Las Vegas Bulldogs would like to give a special thank you to the Wild West Football League and all the teams in the WWFL who accepted our organization, helped us succeed in every manner possible. The Bulldogs would like to also recognize and give a very special thanks to the leagues players, players families, coaches, owners, friends, community and the city of Las Vegas for a wonderful spring season of football. It was an extremely challenging season for the Bulldogs overcoming many obstacles with a multitude of ups and downs but the Bulldogs stayed together, finished what they started, never quit and gave a hell of an effort in their first playoff game versus the premier team in the league. All in all, the season was a complete success despite the Bulldogs overall record. The Bulldogs constantly reminded their players throughout the season that the Dallas Cowboys went 2-30 their first two seasons under Jimmy Johnson before they put all the pieces together to become champions and a dynasty. The Bulldogs want to especially give a huge thank you to their players for their hard work, sacrifices, dedication and the truly awesome experience in creating so many memorable moments as a first year team. THANK YOU!

The Las Vegas Bulldogs lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Summerlin Buccaneers last night. In a very physical hard hitting battle this came down to mistakes. Both defenses started out with big plays and hard hits with turnovers the theme in the first half. The bulldogs had a touchdown on a backwards pass that was fumbled away by the Bucs, reversed by the back official. The next play the bulldogs came hard again sacking QB Marcus and getting a safety to take a 2-0 lead in the 1st Quarter. The Bulldogs took the ensuing punt all the way down to the Bucs 2 yard line before fumbling it away in the end zone on 2nd & goal. With 6 minutes to go in the half and the Bucs facing a 4 & 35 from the 37 yard line they completed a hail mary in the end zone for a touchdown on a broken coverage by the Bulldogs secondary and converted the 2 pt conversion to take an 8-2 lead. Second half action was as intense as the first half with the defenses setting the tempo. The Bucs scored on another 4 down conversion to stretch their lead to 22 -2. The Bulldogs marched down the field with a beautiful drive capped off with a 40 yard touchdown strike from Coach/QB Manoli Miliotis to WR #85 Carlton Endsley. The Bucs scored again late in the 4th quarter to stretch their lead and post their victory by a 30-8 margin. All in all, the game was the best of the day with the most intensity, hardest hits and biggest plays of all the first round playoff games. The Bulldogs left it all on the field never backing down to the leagues premier team. The Bulldogs have a lot to be proud of after completing their first season ever. The Bulldogs will rebuild around a stable of core guys and will most certainly be a force to reckon with in the upcoming seasons.

The Las Vegas Bulldogs qualify for the the playoffs in their first season. After a very difficult start prior to the season opener, with many injuries and tribulations to the program, the Bulldogs kept it together through all the difficult times of any first year program and made it to the playoffs. With a 1-7 regular season record, that earned them the #8 seed and a first round playoff battle with the #1 seed undefeated Summerlin Buccaneers. The game will be played at Freedom Park on Saturday night June 12th at 7pm.
